Home Alteration/Extension (Sept 2010)

Brought in at design and conception stage of this project. GMC guided the client through the whole design, planning and building control stages of the project before starting on site 8 months after the initial consultation.


This whole process was completed while the clients were in Quebec Canada!

GMC have started on site and are making good progress.

The design and errection of a mansard roof style porch to match in with the existing property.

 

New Porch built with re-used stone and new windows and front door to match existing. All completed by GMC.

The removal of an existing conservatory roof and replacing it with a well insulated tiled roof to match in with the existing house. This new roof supported by a steel structure, GMC had designed and certified by a external structural engineer.



The new roof is insulated with 175mm kingspan within the roof rafters, making this room more efficient to heat and usable 12 months of the year.
